If you are starting from the Plaza Alta in Badajoz, head south towards Calle de la Concepción. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Palma. Turn left onto Calle de la Palma and walk until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Colón. Turn right onto Avenida de Colón and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will see signs directing you to the Fuerte de San Cristóbal. Follow the signs and continue uphill until you reach the entrance of the fortress.

From the Badajoz bus station, take the bus line number 2 towards 'Cerro de San Cristóbal'. The bus will take you directly to the stop named 'Cerro de San Cristóbal'. Once you disembark, walk up the path that leads to the fortress, which will be clearly marked. The walk is approximately 10 minutes uphill to reach the entrance of Fuerte de San Cristóbal.
