If you are starting from Plaza Alta, head southwest towards C. Suárez de Figueroa. Walk straight along C. Suárez de Figueroa for about 10 minutes. You will see the Alcazaba de Badajoz on your right, just past the intersection with C. de la Libertad.

From the Badajoz bus station, take bus line 2 towards 'C. del Almacen'. Get off at the 'C. Suárez de Figueroa' stop. Walk back towards the intersection and you will find the entrance to Alcazaba de Badajoz a short distance ahead.

From Badajoz train station, exit and head east on Avenida de Elvas. Turn left onto C. de la Libertad and continue straight until you reach C. Suárez de Figueroa. Turn right and walk for about 5 minutes. The Alcazaba de Badajoz will be on your left.
