Walking
If you are starting from the Plaza de España, head southwest towards Calle José de la Rosa. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Elvas. Turn left onto Avenida de Elvas and walk for 300 meters. You will see the large archway of the Puerta de Palmas Bridgehead in front of you.

From the Badajoz Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses), take Line 3 of the local bus service towards the Puente de Palmas. Ride for about 10 minutes, disembarking at the 'Puente de Palmas' stop. Once you get off, walk about 200 meters straight ahead, and you will see the Puerta de Palmas Bridgehead.
