Walking
If you're starting from Plaza de España, head southwest on Calle José Antonio towards Avenida de Europa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Libertad. Turn left onto Calle de la Libertad and walk until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida de Elvas, then keep walking straight. You'll see the Puente de Palmas in the distance as you approach the river. Cross the bridge to enjoy the beautiful views of the Guadiana River.

From the main bus station in Badajoz, take bus line 5 towards 'Ctra. de Elvas'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Av. de Elvas'. From there, walk straight down Avenida de Elvas until you reach the bridge. The Puente de Palmas will be on your right, just a short walk away.
