Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Azpeitia from major cities in Basque Country. From San Sebastián, take the AP-8 highway towards Bilbao and exit at Azpeitia (exit 19). From Bilbao, take the AP-68 towards Donostia-San Sebastián and then the AP-8 towards Azpeitia. Once you arrive in Azpeitia, follow the signs for the railway museum, which is located at Julián Elortza Hiribidea, 8, 20730 Azpeitia. There is parking available near the museum.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach Azpeitia by train, take a Euskotren train from cities like Donostia-San Sebastián or Bilbao. If you are coming from San Sebastián, take the train to the Azpeitia station. The train ride typically takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Azpeitia station, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to the museum. Just head south along the main road (Julián Elortza Hiribidea) until you reach the museum at number 8.
