Follow the signs for Bilbao and stay on the A-8 for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach the city, take the exit toward the city center (Salida 15). Continue on Avenida de las Universidades, following signs for Abando. Once you reach the roundabout at Plaza de Euskadi, take the second exit onto Gran Vía. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Calle de la Alameda de Urquijo. Continue straight until you see signs for Pío Baroja Plaza. There is limited street parking available, so consider using a nearby parking garage.

To reach Pío Baroja Plaza using public transportation, find the nearest metro station from your location. If you are in Bilbao, the closest metro stations are Abando or Moyua. Take Line 1 (the green line) towards Etxebarri and get off at the Abando station. From the station, exit onto Calle de la Alameda de Urquijo. Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Gran Vía. Turn left onto Gran Vía and continue walking until you see the signs for Pío Baroja Plaza, which is just a short walk away. Alternatively, you can also take tram line 1 and get off at the Abandoibarra stop, which is a short walk from the plaza.
