Walking
If you are in the heart of Abando, start by heading towards the Plaza de Moyúa, which is a central square and a good landmark. From Plaza de Moyúa, walk towards the Gran Via, which is the main street. Continue straight on Gran Via for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Alameda de Urquijo. Turn left onto Alameda de Urquijo and continue walking until you see the entrance to Albiako Lorategiak (Albia Gardens) on your right at Albia Lorategia, 2. The park is easily identifiable with its green spaces and well-maintained paths.
Public Transport (Metro)
From any metro station in Abando, you can take the Bilbao Metro Line 1 (the Biscay line, also known as the 'green line') towards Etxebarri. Get off at the 'Abando' station, which is just one stop away. Once you exit the station, follow direction signs towards the exit on the Plaza de Bilbao side. After exiting, head east towards Gran Via, and then follow the walking directions listed above towards Albiako Lorategiak. Note that the metro ticket costs approximately €1.50.
Public Transport (Tram)
You can also take the tram from any stop in Abando. Board the tram heading towards 'Astearte' and get off at the 'Damaso Alonso' stop. From there, walk back towards the intersection with Gran Via, turn left, and follow the walking directions listed above to reach Albiako Lorategiak. A tram ticket costs around €1.50.
