If you're near the downtown area, head to the Abando Metro Station. From there, take Line 1 (the Green Line) towards Plentzia. Get off at the next stop, which is Casco Viejo. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Old Town (Casco Viejo). Walk straight on Calle de las Cortes until you reach the Plaza Nueva. From there, continue walking towards the river until you see the Areatzako Zubia bridge.

Look for a nearby bus stop and check the local bus routes. You can take bus number 56, which will take you directly to the Ibaiondo area. Get off at the Areatzako Zubia stop. From there, you just need to walk a short distance towards the river to reach the bridge.

If you are already in the Ibaiondo area, you can simply walk to Areatzako Zubia. Head south on Calle de Ibaiondo, and as you get closer to the river, you will see the bridge ahead. It's a pleasant walk along the riverside, and you will enjoy the views of Bilbao along the way.

If you are near the Bilbao tram line, board the tram heading towards the Atxuri station. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Uribitarte'. From Uribitarte, walk towards the river, and you will reach Areatzako Zubia in just a few minutes.
