From the center of Cabo de Gata, head southwest on Calle de las Huertas towards the A-7 motorway. Merge onto the A-7 towards Almería. After about 10 km, take the exit for Carboneras (A-7 exit 474). Continue on the AL-5100 road for approximately 14 km until you reach the town of Carboneras. Once in Carboneras, follow signs for Playa de Los Muertos. The road will lead you to a parking area about 1 km from the beach. Note that there is a small parking fee, typically around 2-3 euros for the day.
