If you're driving, start from the center of Cabo de Gata and head east on the AL-3116 road. Follow the AL-3116 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A-7 motorway. Take the A-7 south towards Almería and exit at Carboneras (Exit 501). Continue on the N-340 road towards Carboneras. After entering Carboneras, follow the signs for Playa de los Muertos. You will need to park in the designated parking area, which may incur a small fee. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Cabo de Gata to Carboneras. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Upon arriving at the Carboneras bus station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi to Playa de los Muertos. Taxis are available at the station and will take you directly to the beach for a reasonable fare.
