Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the AP-7 motorway from your current location in the Catalonia Pyrenees. Follow the AP-7 southbound towards Barcelona. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit for the C-58 towards Manresa. Continue on the C-58 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Monistrol de Montserrat. From Monistrol, follow the signs to Montserrat and continue on the BV-1121 road, which will lead you directly to the park entrance. Be aware that there is a parking fee of around €7 per day at the Montserrat Visitor Center.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Parc Natural de la Muntanya de Montserrat using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) line that goes to Monistrol de Montserrat. If you're coming from Barcelona, take the R5 line from Plaça Espanya station to Monistrol de Montserrat. The journey takes about an hour.
