If you're driving from popular locations in Costa Brava like Lloret de Mar or Tossa de Mar, take the C-63 road towards Girona. Continue on C-63 until you reach the junction with the AP-7 motorway, where you'll follow signs for 'Francesc Macià/Barcelona'. Merge onto AP-7 and continue until exit 6 towards C-25 in the direction of 'Vic'. After approximately 30 km, take exit 7 towards 'Girona'. Follow the signs to GI-533 towards 'Ribes de Freser' and after about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the vicinity of Coll de la Serra, marked by coordinates 42.3792386, 3.0807621. There is a parking area nearby, but be aware that some roads can be narrow and winding.
