Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Girona city center, head southwest on Carrer de Santa Clara towards Plaça del Vi. Continue straight until you reach Carrer de la Força. Turn left onto Carrer de la Força and walk until you reach the Plaça de la Independència. From there, take the exit towards Carrer de la Barca. Continue along Carrer de la Barca until you reach the bridge over the Onyar River. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards Hostalric. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from the city center to Portal de Barcelona.

• Bus

  To reach Portal de Barcelona by bus, head to the main bus station in Girona, located near the train station. Take the bus that goes to Hostalric (check the schedules for specific times). Once you arrive at the Hostalric bus station, exit and walk towards Carrer Major. Portal de Barcelona is located at Carrer Major, 101-91, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Girona. Start from the city center and head towards the Onyar River bike path. Follow the bike path to Hostalric, which will take you through scenic areas. Once you arrive in Hostalric, navigate towards Carrer Major, where Portal de Barcelona is located. The cycling distance is approximately 12 km and should take about 40 minutes.
