From the center of Girona, head to the 'Estació d'Autobusos' (Bus Station), located at Carrer de la Estació. You can walk there from Plaça Catalunya, which is about a 10-minute stroll. Catch the bus to 'Santa Margarida' which runs regularly. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Santa Margarida bus stop, follow the signs that lead towards the volcano, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Head west on Carrer de la Força, then take a left onto Carrer de la Gola. Continue straight until you reach the main road, and then turn right onto Carrer de Cerdanya. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Santa Margarida. The walk is about 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Girona. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Carrer de la Estació' to connect to the cycle paths. Follow the signs for Santa Margarida, which will take you through beautiful countryside. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
