From the center of Girona, head to the main bus station (Estació d'Autobusos de Girona) located near the train station. Take the bus labeled 'Olot' (Bus number 2 or similar) heading towards Olot. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Olot bus station, exit the bus and walk towards Avinguda de Santa Coloma. The Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa is located approximately 1.5 km from the bus station.
