Prado Museum (with Mariluz) Las Meninas came alive: a masterful Prado tour The Prado is enormous, and Mariluz made it manageable and unforgettable. Her knowledge of art is exceptional. She led us through the collection with ease, focusing on the works that mattered most and placing each in the context of its artist, its era, and the art history around it. Her explanation of Velázquez's Las Meninas was a highlight. She covered the painting and its historical context in great detail, and we saw it with fresh eyes afterward. The time flew by as she brought the art and the periods that produced it to life. If you love art, I'd suggest requesting Mariluz by name when you book.
