Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Málaga city center, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Málaga, located at Avenida de los Guindos, 48. You can take the bus line ALSA to Nerja. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, and buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Nerja bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Calle Antonio Ferrandis, and take a left. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Calle Almirante Ferrándiz. Continue straight until you see the signs for the Calahonda Beach. Follow the signs towards Balcón de Europa; it will be a short walk of about 10 minutes.

  • Train and Bus

    If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Málaga Centro Alameda to Torre del Mar on the C-1 line. Upon arrival at Torre del Mar, transfer to bus line 10 to Nerja. The bus will take you directly to Nerja's main bus station. From there, exit the station and follow the directions provided for the public bus route above. This option will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes in total, depending on the train and bus schedules.

  • Walking from Nerja

    If you are already in Nerja, start from the town center, Plaza de las Maravillas. Head south towards Calle Pintada, then take a right onto Calle Almirante Ferrándiz. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street. From there, follow the signs leading to Balcón de Europa. The walk should take around 15 minutes, and you will be rewarded with stunning views along the way.
