  • Bus

    From Málaga, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Málaga, located at Calle José María Carulla, 29004 Málaga. You can reach the bus station by taking a short taxi ride or using the local metro to the El Perchel station, which is nearby. At the bus station, look for the ALSA bus company, which offers direct services to Nerja. Purchase your ticket for Nerja, which should cost around €5-€10 depending on the time of travel. Buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the main bus station in Nerja. From there, it's a short walk to the Balcón de Europa.

    Take the Cercanías train from Málaga to Torre del Mar. The nearest train station is located at María Zambrano station in Málaga. You can take a taxi or metro to this station. Once you arrive at Torre del Mar, you will need to switch to a local bus heading towards Nerja. The bus stop is located right outside the train station. Purchase your ticket on the bus, which should not exceed €3. The bus ride to Nerja will take about 30 minutes. The bus will arrive at the main station in Nerja, from where you can walk to the Balcón de Europa in about 15 minutes.
