    From Málaga, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Málaga, located at Paseo de los Tilos, s/n. Take the bus line 220 towards Mijas. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mijas bus station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the town center. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Santuario de la Virgen de la Peña, which is located at Av. del Compás, 8, Mijas. It is about a 10-15 minute walk uphill or a short taxi ride.
