Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Pamplona, the capital of Navarre. Take the N-121A road heading southeast towards Tafalla. After approximately 25 km, you will reach the junction with the NA-700 road. Turn left onto NA-700 and continue for another 15 km until you see signs for Irulegi. Follow the local signs, and after a short drive up the mountain, you will arrive at Castillo de Irulegi. Keep in mind that parking is limited near the castle, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Castillo de Irulegi using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Pamplona to Tafalla. The buses run frequently throughout the day and take about 30 minutes. From Tafalla, you will need to take a taxi to Castillo de Irulegi, as public transport options are limited. Taxis are available at the bus station, and the ride to the castle will take approximately 15 minutes. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Walking
