If you are starting from the Oviedo Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head southeast on Calle de la Independencia. Continue straight until you reach Plaza del Ayuntamiento. From there, take a right onto Calle Uría, which is a main shopping street. Walk straight down Calle Uría until you reach Plaza de la Escandalera, which is clearly marked. You will see the Fuente Plaza de la Escandalera at the center of the square.

If you are near the Campo de San Francisco park, exit the park towards the west. Walk along the park's edge until you reach Calle de la Independencia. Turn left on Calle de la Independencia and follow it to Plaza del Ayuntamiento. From Plaza del Ayuntamiento, turn right onto Calle Uría and walk straight until you arrive at Plaza de la Escandalera.

From the train station (Estación de Oviedo), exit the station and head northwest on Avenida de la Constitución. Continue walking straight until you reach Plaza de la Escandalera. This route will take you through some of the charming streets of Oviedo, leading you directly to the plaza.
