Train
From the San Sebastián city center, head to the San Sebastián train station (Estación de Renfe) located at Plaza de las Estaciones. Look for the train to Hendaye, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Hendaye station, exit the station and walk towards Rue d'Armatonde. Follow the road until you reach Larretxea - Maison de la Lande, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
Bus
You can take the bus from the San Sebastián bus station (Estación de Autobuses), located near the city center. Look for the bus service to Hendaye (Buses by companies like Lurraldebus). The journey takes around 40 minutes. Upon arriving in Hendaye, walk towards Rue d'Armatonde, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to Larretxea - Maison de la Lande.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops around San Sebastián. Head towards the coast and follow the scenic path along the beach towards the French border. The ride to Hendaye is about 8 km (5 miles) and will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Hendaye, navigate to Rue d'Armatonde and continue until you find Larretxea - Maison de la Lande.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely stroll from San Sebastián to Hendaye. Start at the La Concha beach and follow the promenade along the coast until you reach the border. The distance is about 8 km (5 miles) and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After crossing into Hendaye, continue to Rue d'Armatonde and walk until you arrive at Larretxea - Maison de la Lande.
