Bus
From the center of San Sebastián, head to the 'Gros' area. Locate the 'Bulevar' bus stop, which is near the La Concha beach. Take the L1 or L2 bus towards 'Saint-Jean-de-Luz'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz bus station, it's a short walk to the town center.
Train
Make your way to the San Sebastián train station, located near the city center. Purchase a ticket to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, which can be done at the ticket machine or counter. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes around 25 minutes. Upon arrival at Saint-Jean-de-Luz train station, follow the signs to the town center, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in San Sebastián. Simply ask the driver to take you to Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand.
Walking
While it is quite a distance, adventurous travelers can walk to Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Start from the Old Town (Parte Vieja) and head towards the northern coast along the beach promenade. Follow the coastline until you reach the Biarritz area, and continue towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz. This route is scenic but will take about 2.5 to 3 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
