Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from Ampara Town. Head east on the A4 highway towards the town of Pottuvil. After approximately 20 kilometers, take a left turn onto the B161 road towards Wangedigala. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers. As you approach Wangedigala, you will see signs directing you to the parking area. There is a small parking fee of approximately LKR 100 per vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Wangedigala using public transportation, you can take a bus from Ampara Town to Pottuvil. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station in Ampara. The fare is around LKR 50. Upon reaching Pottuvil, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to Wangedigala, which is about a 15-kilometer ride and costs approximately LKR 500 to 700. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
