Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Anuradhapura, head south on the A9 highway. Continue on the A9 for about 22 km until you reach the junction for the B459 road towards Nochchiyagama. Turn left onto B459 and continue for approximately 16 km. You will see signs for Wilpattu National Park. As you approach the park, look for signs indicating Leopard Trails Wilpattu, which is located right at the border of the park.

    To reach Leopard Trails Wilpattu via public transport, take a bus from Anuradhapura to Nochchiyagama. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Anuradhapura. The journey takes around 1 hour and costs approximately LKR 100. Once you arrive in Nochchiyagama, you can take a tuk-tuk (auto-rickshaw) to Leopard Trails Wilpattu. The tuk-tuk ride will be about 12 km and should cost around LKR 500 to LKR 700.
