If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Anuradhapura. Start your journey from the city center and head north on the Kandy Road (A9). To reach Wilpattu National Park by public bus, go to the Anuradhapura Central Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Puttalam or Mannar.
