After entering the park, continue along the main road until you arrive at Wilpattu Safaris, which is located near the park headquarters.

To reach Wilpattu Safaris using public transport, take a bus from Colombo to Anuradhapura. Buses leave frequently from the Colombo Central Bus Stand. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, costing around LKR 300-500. Once you arrive in Anuradhapura, you can take a local taxi or tuk-tuk to the Hunuwilangamuwa Entrance of Wilpattu National Park, which is about 30 km away. Expect to pay around LKR 2,000-3,000 for the taxi ride. From the entrance, you can proceed to Wilpattu Safaris as described for drivers.
