The palace is located at the coordinates 8.4821658, 79.9397635, so you can also use a GPS device to help you navigate directly to that location.

Take a local bus from Puttalam bus station heading towards Kottukachchiya. The bus fare is usually around 50 LKR. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Kottukachchiya junction. From there, you can either walk (approximately 3 kilometers) or hire a tuk-tuk for about 300 LKR to take you directly to the Palace of Queen Kuweni. Make sure to confirm the fare with the tuk-tuk driver before starting your journey.
