Car
From Batticaloa town, head northeast on the A4 road towards Trincomalee. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Valaichchenai. Turn left onto the A15 road towards Pasikuda. Follow this road for approximately 12 kilometers, passing through Valaichchenai and continuing straight until you see the signs for Pasikuda Beach. The beach access points will be on your left. Parking is available near the beach, where small fees may apply.

Public Transportation
Start at Batticaloa Bus Station and take a local bus heading towards Trincomalee. Ensure the bus stops at Valaichchenai as you will need to get off there. Once you arrive at Valaichchenai, transfer to a local bus or a tuk-tuk that goes to Pasikuda Beach. The ride from Valaichchenai to Pasikuda will take about 20-30 minutes. Note that bus fares are typically low, ranging from 50 to 100 LKR depending on the distance.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a more private option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any location in Batticaloa. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Pasikuda Beach. The ride should take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges from 1500 to 2500 LKR for this journey.
