Car

If you're driving from Kandy, head south on the A1 road towards Nuwara Eliya. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the right fork onto the A5 road towards Badulla. Continue on the A5 and after about 20 kilometers, look for the signs to Illuppaiyad. You will eventually reach the location indicated by the coordinates (7.8350278, 81.5191389). Parking is available near the site.
Public Bus

From Kandy, take a bus heading towards Nuwara Eliya. These buses frequently depart from the Kandy bus station. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Illuppaiyad (you may need to show them the address RGP9+2M6). The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. After alighting, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the exact location.
Tuk-Tuk

If you prefer a more flexible option, hire a tuk-tuk from Kandy or Nuwara Eliya. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The cost can vary but expect to pay around 3,000 to 4,500 LKR for a round trip. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to Illuppaiyad, making it a convenient option, especially if you're traveling in a group.
