Tuk-Tuk
From Bentota, find a Tuk-Tuk by either hailing one on the street or asking your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Madu River Safari' at No 193/8 Bridge View, Galle Rd, Balapitiya. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Keep an eye out for the bright blue river on your left as you approach Balapitiya; the Madu River Safari location is just off the main road.

You can catch a local bus from the Bentota bus station heading towards Balapitiya. Look for buses labeled 'Balapitiya' or 'Galle.' The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Balapitiya, disembark at the Galle Rd bus stop. From there, you can walk to the Madu River Safari location, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head north along Galle Rd until you reach No 193/8, where the Madu River Safari is located.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bentota. Head north from the beach area along Galle Rd. The ride to Madu River Safari will take about 30 minutes. As you cycle, enjoy the scenic views along the coast and the river. When you reach Balapitiya, look for No 193/8 on your left-hand side.
