If you are starting from Colombo Fort, head south on Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha until you reach the intersection with Janadhipathi Mawatha. Turn right at the intersection. Continue along Janadhipathi Mawatha until you reach the junction with Independence Avenue. Turn left onto Independence Avenue and walk straight for about 1 km. You will see the D.S. Senanayake Monument on your right side, located in Independence Square.

Turn left and walk down this road until you reach Independence Avenue. Turn right onto Independence Avenue and walk straight for about 700 meters. The D.S.
