From Colombo Fort Bus Station, take a bus heading to Negombo. Buses to Negombo leave frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once on the bus, the journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. You will arrive at the main bus terminal in Negombo. From there, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Negombo Beach, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. If walking, head straight down Main Street until you reach the beach front.

Head to Colombo Fort Railway Station and board a train to Negombo. Trains run regularly, and the journey typically takes about 1 hour. When you arrive at Negombo Railway Station, exit the station and you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Negombo Beach. The beach is about 3 kilometers from the station; if walking, head south on Colombo Road until you reach the beach.
