Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the Ella Railway Station. Once you reach the station, continue straight on the main road (A23) heading towards Bandarawela. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for the Dambatenne Tea Factory on your left. Follow the signs and take a left turn onto the smaller road leading to the factory. Continue along this road for about 500 meters until you arrive at the Dambatenne Tea Factory.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a Tuk-Tuk, you can easily find one at any point in Ella town. Tell the driver you want to go to Dambatenne Tea Factory in Bandarawela. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the factory entrance, which is located off the main road (A23) towards Bandarawela.

Public Bus
To reach Dambatenne Tea Factory by public bus, walk to the Ella bus station, which is located near the center of town. Look for a bus heading towards Bandarawela. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the Dambatenne Tea Factory stop, or keep an eye out for the sign on the side of the road. Once you get off, it is a short walk to the factory entrance.
