Walking
From Ella town center, head east on Main Street (Ella-Wellawaya Road) towards the Ella Rock. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Ella Railway Station. From there, take the narrow path that leads south, following the railway tracks for about 500 meters. After crossing the tracks, you will see signs pointing to Lanka Ella - Waterfall. Follow the signs uphill for another 300 meters until you arrive at the waterfall.
Tuk-tuk
In Ella town, find a tuk-tuk stand or hail a tuk-tuk from the street. Ask the driver to take you to Lanka Ella - Waterfall. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes. Once you reach the entrance, you might have to walk a short distance, as the tuk-tuk may not be able to go all the way to the waterfall due to the terrain.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ella. Start from the town center and follow the Main Street (Ella-Wellawaya Road) heading east. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto the road leading to the Ella Railway Station. Keep following the road until you see signs for Lanka Ella - Waterfall. Park your bicycle at the designated area and walk the remaining distance to the waterfall.
