From the center of Ella, start your journey by heading towards the Ella Railway Station. Once you reach the station, take the road that leads to the Nine Arches Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue walking on the main road until you reach the small village of Passara. From Passara, look for the sign that indicates the direction to Lipton's Seat. The hike to Lipton's Seat from Passara is approximately 7-8 km, which will take you through beautiful tea plantations and scenic views. Follow the trail that leads up the hill to the Dambethenna Tea Factory, and from there, you will find well-marked paths leading to Lipton's Seat. The entire hike should take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you carry water and wear comfortable shoes.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a tuk-tuk from Ella to Lipton's Seat. Head to the main street in Ella and look for tuk-tuk drivers. Agree on a price before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the entrance of Lipton's Seat, where you can enjoy the stunning views without the strenuous hike.

For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Ella. Start at the Ella town center and follow the road towards the Dambethenna Tea Factory.
