From the center of Ella, head towards the main road (Ella-Wellawaya Road). Walk along this road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the sign for the 9 Arches Bridge. Continue past the bridge and keep walking straight. After about 30 more minutes, you will come to a small junction. Take the left path that leads uphill towards Galkanda.
