Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the main road (Wellawaya-Ella-Kumbalwela Hwy) that runs through the town. Walk in the direction of Wellawaya. After about 1 km, you will reach a junction where you can see a sign for Ravana Waterfall. Continue straight on the main road for another 1.5 km. You will see the waterfall on your left-hand side. There is a small entrance area where you can take pictures.

Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Ella, you can easily find a tuk-tuk by asking around or at designated tuk-tuk stands. Tell the driver you want to go to Ravana Waterfall. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The driver will take you along the Wellawaya-Ella-Kumbalwela Hwy. You will arrive right at the entrance of the waterfall, where you can explore the area.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the central area of Ella and head towards the Wellawaya-Ella-Kumbalwela Hwy. Follow the road towards Wellawaya for about 2.5 km. The waterfall will be on your left side. Make sure to ride safely and be aware of the traffic.
