Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the main road (A23). Walk down the road until you reach the Ella Railway Station. From here, you can take a train to Nuwara Eliya. The train ride offers beautiful scenic views. Once you arrive at Nuwara Eliya Railway Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. The Royal Turf Club is approximately 1.5 kilometers away from the station. You can either walk straight along the main road or ask locals for directions, as they are friendly and often willing to help.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Ella to Nuwara Eliya. Simply head to the main street in Ella where you will find many tuk-tuk drivers. Negotiate the fare (it should be around 1500-2000 LKR). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to the Royal Turf Club in Nuwara Eliya, and they will know the way.

You can also take a local bus from Ella to Nuwara Eliya. Head to the bus station located near the railway station in Ella. Look for buses heading to Nuwara Eliya; they run frequently. The bus fare is very affordable (around 100-150 LKR). Once you arrive at the Nuwara Eliya bus station, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the Royal Turf Club, which is about 2 kilometers away.
