Walking
Start from the center of Nuwara Eliya, near the famous Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Head west on the Main Street (also known as Havelock Road) and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Upper Lake Road. Turn right onto Upper Lake Road. Continue walking for another 500 meters. Themparadu will be on your left, look for a restaurant with a sign that says 'Themparadu'.
Tuk-Tuk
From the central bus station in Nuwara Eliya, hire a tuk-tuk (a three-wheeled taxi). Tell the driver you want to go to Themparadu on Upper Lake Road. The ride will take about 10 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the restaurant, which is located on the left side of the road. Make sure to note the opening hours: it opens at 9:30 AM.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nuwara Eliya. Begin your ride from the city center, heading west on Main Street. After approximately 1 kilometer, turn right onto Upper Lake Road. Continue cycling for about 500 meters. Themparadu is located on your left-hand side. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
