Walking
From the Ella town center, head towards the main street (Ella - Bandarawela Road) and walk in the direction of Bandarawela. After about 10 minutes, you will come to the Ella Railway Station. From there, continue walking along the main road for approximately 2 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass by several small shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating the direction to Nugatalawa. After 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for Sri Seetha Matha Agnipravesh Place on the left side of the road. Follow the path leading to the temple, which is set back from the main highway.

Tuk-Tuk
You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Ella. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Sri Seetha Matha Agnipravesh Place in Nugatalawa. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway. You will be dropped off at the entrance of the temple, which is located on the main highway.
