From Galle Town, take the A2 road towards Hikkaduwa. After approximately 14 km, you will reach the town of Balapitiya. Look for Railway Station Road (No 25/A) on your right. The Ganthera Safari-Madu River is located on this road. The total distance is around 16 km and should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Parking may be available nearby, but confirm upon arrival.

From Galle, you can catch a bus to Balapitiya from the Galle Bus Station. Buses to Balapitiya are frequent and cost around LKR 50-100. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Balapitiya, exit the bus and ask locals for directions to Railway Station Road (No 25/A). It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the Ganthera Safari-Madu River.
