    From Galle, take the A2 highway towards Hikkaduwa and continue north. After about 20 km, take the exit toward Balapitiya (A3). Follow the A3 road for approximately 14 km until you reach Balapitiya. Look for signs for Madu River Safari. The boat safari location is near the Madu River, which is well marked. Parking is available nearby.

    From Galle, take a local bus heading towards Balapitiya. Buses leave frequently from the Galle bus station and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to Madu River Safari. Once you arrive at Balapitiya, you can walk to the Madu River Safari location, which is around 1 km away. Follow the main road towards the river; signs for the boat safari will guide you.
