From the Galle Fort, head towards the main entrance of the fort. Once outside, turn right onto Church Street. Walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see the National Museum on your left at 26H8+HQ6, Church St. It is a large building with a sign indicating the museum.

If you are near the Galle Clock Tower, you can take a tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver 'National Museum' or point to '26H8+HQ6, Church St'. The ride should take around 5 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the museum.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Galle Fort area. Ride towards the main gate of the fort, then take a left onto Church Street. Continue cycling straight for about 500 meters until you reach the National Museum on your left at 26H8+HQ6, Church St.
