    If you are in Galle Fort, start at the main entrance of the fort. Head east on Hospital Street towards the Galle Lighthouse. Continue straight on Pedlar Street until you reach the intersection with Leyn Baan Street. Turn left onto Leyn Baan Street and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Galle-Matara Road (A2). Keep walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Koggala. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the area known as 'X8PH+3M9'. The Stilt Fisherman will be visible along the coastline.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From Galle Fort, find a tuk-tuk stand or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to Koggala, specifically 'X8PH+3M9'. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the Galle-Matara Road (A2), and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive, you will see the Stilt Fishermen along the beach.

  • Bicycle

    If you’re feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Galle. Start at Galle Fort and head southeast towards the Galle-Matara Road (A2). Follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers, then continue straight for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach Koggala. Once you get close to 'X8PH+3M9', you will see the Stilt Fishermen along the shore. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
