If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Matara. Head south on Matara Road (A2) towards Habaraduwa. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Look for signs that indicate Habaraduwa. The Sea Turtle Hatchery is located on Matara Road at Silver Green, and you will see the entrance on your left. There is parking available at the hatchery.

To reach the Sea Turtle Hatchery by public bus, go to the Matara bus station. Catch a bus heading towards Galle and ask the driver to drop you off at Habaraduwa. The fare is typically around 30-50 LKR. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance towards Matara Road, and you will find the Sea Turtle Hatchery on your left.

For a more personalized experience, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Matara. Negotiate a fare before starting your journey, which should range between 500-800 LKR. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes.
