Start from Galle Fort, a popular tourist destination. Exit the Fort through the main gate and head east along Pedlar Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Galle Road (A2). Cross the road carefully and take the path leading towards the Galle Railway Station. Walk along Galle Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Samanala Bridge. The Sunset Observing Place is located just off the bridge on the left side. Look for signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Galle. Begin your journey at Galle Fort, cycling along Pedlar Street. After a short distance, make a left turn onto Galle Road (A2).
