If you are driving, start from Gampaha town. Head east on the A1 highway towards Colombo. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards the A6 highway, direction Kurunegala. Continue on the A6 for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for the B274 road. Turn onto B274 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Bambarakiri Ella as you approach. There is a small parking area near the site.

To travel by public transport, start at the Gampaha bus station. Board a bus heading towards Kurunegala on the A6 highway. The bus fare is approximately 100-150 LKR. After about 1 hour, get off at the junction where B274 intersects with A6. From there, you can hire a tuk-tuk or walk about 10 kilometers along B274 to reach Bambarakiri Ella.
