Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Gampaha town. Take the A1 highway towards Negombo. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Negombo main road (B459). Turn left onto B459 and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Rukmani Devi Park. Turn right onto the road leading to the park entrance, which is located at coordinates 7.2083919, 79.8459801. Parking is available near the entrance, and there is no entrance fee for the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a bus from Gampaha bus station heading to Negombo. The bus fare is approximately LKR 50. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Negombo main road stop. From there, you can either walk (about 1 kilometer) towards the park or take a tuk-tuk for around LKR 200. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the park entrance. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Rukmani Devi Park, located at 6R5W+995, Negombo.
