    If you are driving from Hambantota town, head east on A2 road towards Tissamaharama. After approximately 20 km, take a right turn onto the B15 road towards Weligatta. Follow this road for about 10 km. You will see signs for Bundala National Park as you approach. The entrance is located on your left.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Bundala National Park using public transport, start at the Hambantota bus station. Take a bus heading towards Tissamaharama. Inform the conductor to drop you off at Weligatta. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Weligatta, you can either walk or hire a tuk-tuk to get to the entrance of Bundala National Park, which is approximately 5 km away.

  • Tuk-tuk

    If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can hire one from anywhere in Hambantota town. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Bundala National Park. The journey will take around 30 minutes, and the driver will know the best route to take.
